In general appearance, a doe that is very upstanding, long and level across her topline, although I would like to see her more level from thurl to thurl. A doe that also stands on a nice set of feet and legs, showing width between her hocks, and showing extension of brisket. She will lack head and breed characteristics – although a cross of two breeds, I would like to see a stronger jaw. In terms of dairy strength, a flatter boned doe with a long, feminine neck and sharpness over her withers. In body capacity, a doe that shows depth of rear barrel and adequate width of chest floor.
In the mammary system, a doe that is showing ideal teat size and capacity for her age and lactations, as well as extension to fore udder and rear udder attachment. Although I would like to see more ideal teat placement, stronger medial, more height to rear udder and better attached fore udder.
