9/25/2025 ~ Please read below for the changes we made to be more accommodating to those interested in reserving a kid.

A $200 deposit will hold your spot on our wait list until a kid is born from your 1st or 2nd choice breeding pair. Once born, the total of a 50% deposit (which includes the initial $200 deposit) is due to reserve a kid.  Deposit is due within 24 hours of notification of available kid(s). A kid is not officially reserved until the 50% deposit is received.

Frogtown Cedars Farm, LLC reserves the right to retain any kid born on our farm. Deposit will be refunded in full if we decide to retain a kid. Should the buyer’s 1st and 2nd choice kid not be available, we will apply it to another kid that is available, refund the deposit or roll it into the following year per the buyer’s request. Deposits will not be refunded for cancellation made by the buyer, regardless of the reason. Frogtown Cedars Farm, LLC reserves the right to refuse a sale to anyone. Kids will be sold in pairs unless the buyer has at least one goat of a similar age already. Buyer must have adequate shelter and fencing, basic knowledge on how to care for and raise goats and a vet who works with goats. Reservations are first come, first serve.

Our adult herd is annually tested for CAE, CL and Johne’s of which all goats are consistently negative for. Our adult does were tested this year for Q-Fever and Brucellosis, of which all are negative. Results available by request. Our herd is G6s normal either by test or by parentage and all bucks have their DNA on file with their registry. 

All kids will be disbudded, tattooed and registered prior to leaving our farm with the exception of those that are pet quality who will not be registered. Buyers wishing to have their kids keep their horns must pay in full in place of a depoist and pick their kid(s) up by 7 days old, no exceptions and no refunds. ADGA bucklings will have hair samples sent in for DNA typing per ADGA requirements. Microchipping is available at the buyer’s expense of $35/kid.

Vet visit and Health Certification for cross state line transport are at the buyer’s expense. Transport fees are at the buyer’s expense. We can recommend trusted transportation companies and may be able to transport within 2-3 of hours of our farm (depending on the season) for a fee of $25/hour that we are on the road (to and from). Kids will be ready for pickup at 2-4 weeks old on a bottle unless other arrangements are made. Kids not on a bottle will need to be picked up by 10 weeks for doe kids and 8 weeks for buck kids. Kids are ready for air travel at 1 month old. All fees associated with air travel including the full balance of the kid(s), crate, health cert, vaccines, air fare and our travel fee of $25/hour to and from the airport are at the buyers expense and are due prior to us booking the flight. Buyer will be charged a fee of $2/day for kids not picked up by their scheduled pickup date.

By leaving a deposit, you are agreeing to all of the above.
