Sunny is a spayed female G4 Colorado Mountain Dog, turning 2 in November. She has been raised around farm life but has always been happiest with her people.
Crate trained & house trained
Loves people — can be shy at first, then very affectionate
Raised from a young pup as a companion to a young adult with special needs
Temperament tested as a puppy and scored as a service/therapy/companion dog
Quick learner, eager to please, and happiest with a person and a job
Experience with goats, poultry, and pigs
Potential as a dual-purpose LGD with an experienced LGD to mentor her
Sunny is looking for a home where she can be part of daily family life, not simply turned out with livestock. She thrives as a devoted companion, is a therapy dog prospect, farm dog by day with a confident LGD mentor, or a combination.
