Reservation & Deposit Policy ~ updated 4/20/26
A $200 deposit secures your place on our reservation list and may be applied toward your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice breeding pair. Once a kid matching your reservation becomes available, a total deposit of 50% (minus the initial $200, if applicable) is required within 24 hours to officially reserve the kid. A kid is not considered reserved until the full 50% deposit is received. Deposits can be made via Zelle with zero processing fees or we can send you an invoice with a 3% processing fee applied.
Frogtown Cedars Farm, LLC does not accept partial payments toward the final balance. All funds paid—including, but not limited to payments toward a goat, veterinary fees, boarding, feed, etc—are considered a commitment to purchase and are non-refundable if the buyer cancels for any reason.
Frogtown Cedars Farm, LLC reserves the right to retain any kid born on our farm. If we are unable to fulfill your reservation, the deposit may be applied to another available kid, rolled into the following year or refunded. Deposits are non-refundable if canceled by the buyer, for any reason.

Herd Health & Testing
Our adult herd is annually tested and negative for CAE, CL, and Johne’s. In 2025, our does were also tested and negative for Q-Fever and Brucellosis. Results are available upon request. Our herd is G6s normal by test or parentage, and all bucks have DNA on file with their registry.

Buyer Requirements
Frogtown Cedars Farm, LLC reserves the right to refuse any sale. Buyers must already have goats, proper shelter and fencing, basic goat-care knowledge, and access to a veterinarian experienced with goats.

Kid Care & Registration
All kids will be disbudded, tattooed, and registered prior to leaving our farm, except pet-quality kids which will not be registered. Buyers wishing to keep horns must pay in full and pick up by 7 days old—no exceptions or refunds. ADGA bucklings will have DNA submitted per ADGA requirements. Microchipping is available for $35 per kid. Kids will be sold in pairs or to a home that already has a kid(s) of similar age.
All kids born beginning in 2026 will carry our new herd name, Cedarvale. Frogtown Cedars will always be the roots of our herd, and with Cedarvale, our program continues to grow toward the future we envision.

Pickup, Transport & Shipping
Kids are ready for pickup at 2 weeks old on a bottle, unless otherwise arranged between Frogtown Cedars Farm, LLC and the buyer. Non-bottle kids must be picked up by 10 weeks (does) or 8 weeks (bucks). Transportation is the buyer’s responsibility.
Health certificates, vet visit, vaccines requested, and balance due are buyer’s responsibility. We may offer limited transport within 3 hours of the farm at $50/hour round-trip. A $2/day boarding fee applies for weaned kids not picked up on schedule, $5/day boarding fee applies for kids still on a bottle.
